Camera Bike
The course focuses on providing riders the rules, regulations and riding styles as official motorcycle escorts. During bike races, marathons and other events, understanding the practices of being a professional driver is vital. It is also important for the photographer to know how to function within the unique structure of motor-mounted photography units, as well as become comfortable with balance and movement on a motorcycle.

- Riders who will be hired
for camera bike services
- Photographers who will be hired for sports and event photograpy
Both photographer and rider will learn how to ride and communicate with a professional camera bike driver, as well as become familiar with typical sports coverage conventions such as how to cover bicycle racing, marathons, and bi-/triathelons. Weighted dummy cameras are available for training. We urge photographers to purchase their own protective gear and can provide several types for demonstration. We can also assist media outlets in procuring sets of protective gear for their photographers. Whether your photographers are required for a special event, or you just want to round out their training so they are ready at a moment's notice to shoot safely from a motorized platform, this course will give them the skills to do the job safely and effectively.
