Advanced Street Skills

MotoMark1’s Advanced Street Skills is unlike any other in North Carolina. MotoMark1 provides bike-to-bike communication and a digital video recording camera for the optimal feedback for their students.

This course starts with approximately 30 to 45 minutes of classroom. We will then mount a communication system to your helmet so you can receive detailed instructor-to-student commands. You will work briefly on some drills and then, after careful evaluation, be escorted to the street. Your training journey will move to various speed zones. Techniques will focus on curve skills, hazard perception, danger reaction, intersection safety, passing, traffic congestion, smooth shifting, progressive braking, off-road recovery and interstate speed cruising. After your first drive, you will be critiqued utilizing digital visual technology with intense attention to detail.

Advanced Street Skills Details

Length: Available by the hour.
Motorcycle: Bring your own (all street-legal motorcycles are welcome)
Minimums: Safe motorcycle, DOT-rated helmet, jacket, sturdy pants, gloves, eye protection, over-the-ankle boots. Long sleeves recommended for summer.
